Christmas Cheer

Hello, sweet friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. :) I'm popping in today with a project for Wycinanka. Not only did I play with Christmas chippies (again!), but also one of their sweet kraft boxes. ♥️ This was created to deliver Christmas joy to a heartbroken mother.
This darling box is just under 4-inches square and comes with a card blank to perfectly nestle within. One of my favorite Maja Christmas paper collections is A Gift for You, so I pulled out what little I have left to decorate. How I treasure the rich traditional colors.
The box lid showcases the precious Let it Snow chipboard birdhouse, which you already know how much I adore! ♥️ It is tucked within a gorgeous Wycinanka Wreath, ruffling bows, and velvet jingly bells. The little card is also adorned with a few chippies. Very Merry Baubles hang from festive twine, while a gorgeous Christmas Nostalgy Frame holds my Christmas greeting (from My Craft Spot-no longer in business).
The chippies throughout my project are covered in Crackle Paint. I colored the paint for the wreath with Sea Grass Green (Magicals powder) from Lindy's Stamp Gang. Snow Writer accents my elements, which was sprinkled with Glamour Dust for Christmas sparkle. ♥️
This was a fun project and I'm excited to decorate another. I'm certainly in my happy place playing with Wycinanka goodies and pretty embellishments... especially when its purpose is to deliver joy to a heart in need. :) Most of the embellishments are from Live & Love Crafts. ♥️

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a sparkly day! :)

Waiting for Santa

Happy Friday, sparkly friends! I'm sharing another Christmas creation on the Live & Love Crafts blog today. It's hard to stop when Sandy has added so many festive beauties to the shop. ♥️

Short and sweet from me today as this week has been a time crunch!
I have paired Pion's Greetings from the North Pole with some wintry Wycinanka chippies.
This sleeping sweetheart stole my heart. The frame is a Joy! Crafts die. I hung a few tiny stockings (including two for the birdie friends in the tree) and surrounded the scene with winter's beauty. The Wycinanka Reindeer is one of my favorite chippies, which I have covered in Shabby White Frantage for snowy white with a touch of holiday gold. ♥️
Sweet pine cone charms jingle from a Fayette bow. The beautiful new lace is Marquisa and I am completely enamored with it. The classic Rhinestones Lace adorns the opposite side.
The Wycinanka Snowflake is covered in Shabby White Frantage and topped with a Christmas Cheery Lynn Designs poinsettia. I used a Sunflower Pearl for its center, as I love how it resembles a snowflake. (And of course I take any opportunity to add an extra pearl or two.) ;) My sentiment is from Whimsical Designs (no longer in business) and is cut out with a Spellbinders pennant and trimmed with Fayette Lace.

Thank you for visiting and I wish you a lovely day! ♥️

Joy to the World

Happy Friday, sweet friends! I am just returning and will be sprinkling comment love all over your blogs this weekend. :o)

I'm on the Live & Love Crafts blog today, sharing a snowy Christmas inspiration that will be sent to a mother enduring heartache this holiday season as her little one fights a terminal disease. I always look forward to the new Pion churches each holiday season and the one in Greetings from the North Pole is lovely. The entire collection is a wintry delight. ♥︎
The church is nestled within a gorgeous Wycinanka Bauble (Decor 3). I am addicted to their baubles! ♥︎ For textural interest I have covered it in Crackle Paste and created a hanger of sunflower pearls, natural hemp, and teeny jingly bells.  I love using multiple chippies, so a stunning Vintage Snowflake is tucked in between snowy paper layers.
The sweet ornament hangs beneath a ruffly floral garland, with the most darling polka dot trim I've seen! Rockabilly Ruffle Trim is a recent addition to the store and I am smitten. ♥︎ For festive creations, the little dots are just like precious snowflakes. My card is lined with the beautiful Alicia lace.

The Christmas sentiment is from My Craft Spot (no longer in business) and the snowflakes are from Cheery Lynn. Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a beautiful day. :o)

Thankful for You

Hello, sweet friends! I am currently away but will be catching up with you very soon. ♥️

Today I am sharing my first project for Wycinanka! What a joy it was to create. This is for a teen ballet dancer who is battling brain cancer. She continues to dance in her heart every moment and also physically when she is able. The cancer may have taken her eyesight, but not her determination. ♥️
To thank her for inspiring us so richly (and teaching us more than she will ever realize), I gathered some of my favorite Wycinanka and Live & Love Crafts goodies. The gorgeous chipboard frame is from Wycinanka's Elegance collection, within which I nestled pearls and sweet background hearts. The delicate hearts on the frame make my heart dance. ♥️
My ballerina is a Marianne Design die. She is dressed up in lace and papers from Pion's Alma's Sewing Room, which also decorate my entire card. The foliage within my Wild Orchid Crafts flowers are also beautiful chippies. The My Craft Spot (no longer in business) sentiment is cut out with a Spellbinders pennant.
Isn't this Boheme border exquisite? It is glorious and also comes in a slightly smaller mini size. It is softly accented with pearls for extra elegance. I truly adore the texture and beauty that chipboard accents innately create.
The lovely lace along the bottom is one of Sandy's newest trims at Live & Love Crafts and is perfectly dreamy. I wanted various texture for the recipient to explore and see through her hands... I hope she loves it. ♥️

Thank you for fluttering on by and I wish you a sparkly day. :o)

Monday Blessings ♥︎

Happy Monday, sweet friends! I hope you had a lovely weekend. I'm popping in today with a quick little post. Most of my weekend was spent beginning a box of love for someone in need of sunshine, perfectly timed with the receipt of my first DT parcel from Wycinanka.  ♥︎
As I prepared my heart for this purpose (it is always emotionally taxing), I immersed myself in this enormous blessing from Wycinanka. Their generosity is as beautiful as the products they create! ♥︎
Kindness comes in many forms, big and small. My new teamies and I are already being spoiled silly and it has me eager to create even more encouragement packages... to use every single one of these in an outpouring of sappy love. ♥︎ As I was surprised with this avalanche of chippies, I hope you are taken aback this week by blessings that chase you down and overtake you. ♥︎
